ABOUT
Durasub Passive Air Flow
Fire Door Range
The Durasub Passive Air Flow Fire Door range offers a level of flexibility rarely found in fire-rated steel doors. Each doorset is purpose-built to meet exact project requirements, with tested solutions available for openings up to 5 m high and 6.8 m wide. This makes the Durasub Passive Air Flow range ideal for complex or non-standard openings where fire performance cannot be compromised.

Available in single and double-leaf configurations, Durasub Passive Air Flow Fire Doors are suitable for both internal and external applications.
The doors are constructed from a high-strength composite panel of fibre-reinforced cement mechanically bonded to punched steel sheets on both outer faces. This construction delivers excellent impact resistance, durability, and long-term reliability in demanding environments.

Durasub Passive Air Flow Fire Doors incorporate intumescent air transfer louvres that allow continuous airflow under normal operating conditions while maintaining fire protection performance.

The intumescent air transfer louvres can be installed within the door leaves, above the door, or as a combination of both configurations, with up to three louvres permitted per door leaf.

In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands automatically to seal the ventilation openings, maintaining the fire-resistance integrity of the door assembly and preventing the passage of flames and hot gases through the ventilation path.
